Skunk Odor Eliminator Kit

After that experience we decided to get better prepared and found a recipe on the Internet to remove skunk odors.  We obtained the ingredients and placed them on the shelf for the potential next encounter.  Soon after she got hit again, we made the mix up and started the treatment with the same lengthy mixed results.

 Of course no time is convenient, but she always seems to get skunked late into the evening just about time or after we are in bed, and either on a cold night or rainy night when shampooing her outside is not the most ideal situation. 

We happened onto a bottle of Skunk Off and decided to keep it on standby for our next encounter.   She has been hit three times since we have the skunk off, even got past us the last time into the house rolling on the carpet to try and get it off her, until we could grab her and drag her back outside, getting the odor on us.  Needless to say we had a stinking mess in the middle of the night to deal with. 

I grabbed the bottle of Skunk Off and started wiping around her nose and face, immediately the skunk odor was gone, a second sniff discovered spray on the collar, I hit it with Skunk Off same results.  We then went to the area where she rolled in the carpet hit it with Skunk Off and the odor was eliminated.

We were able to get back to a normal routine allowing the dog back into the house that same evening.  We did leave the collar outside for a deeper cleaning the next day. This stuff is simply an amazing product that everyone that could have an encounter with a skunk needs to keep on hand.
