The Pioneer is available in Red Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, and Quarter Sawn Oak, wood. Various stain options are available. Priced as Maple pictured using Barnwood Stain.
The Pioneer Sewing Cabinet is 40” wide folded and 80” open x 20” deep and 31” Tall with a standard 20-7/8” kneehole.
The Pioneer is available with a 26" modified wider opening for the larger quilting machines as well as a taller lift for the next generation Bernina 7 Series machines. This width needs to encompass the cords, spindle, and other parts that would conflict with the sides when lowering the machine into the cabinet top. Cords and most sewing arms may be removed to allow the overall width to work in this cabinet. The Modified larger machine option will increase the overall length of the cabinet.
The Pioneer Sewing Cabinet uses solid wood throughout. The sides and back are finished which, completely wraps around the cabinet sides and back. This cabinet will display nicely from the back sitting out in a room like a desk. The fold-up leaf tucks in neatly into the backside.

The sewing machine pushes down into the cabinet using a German-made airlift allowing the top to be closed. When the doors are closed this unit appears to be a sideboard or chest to fit into your decor.
The heavy-duty airlift is rated for up to 50 lbs. with adjustable levels for both tabletop and flatbed sewing. The standard lift will accommodate machines up to 14-3/4" tall. The extra-tall lift will accommodate the next generation machines such as the Bernina 7 series which, require at least 15” travel to clear the lid.
The cabinet is equipped with four quality crafted dovetail joinery drawers mounted on ball-bearing drawer glides. One drawer measures 4"-1/4” x 8-1/2" x 14 " and the other three drawers measure 6-1/4” x 8-1/2" x 14".
Roller floor casters are also standard.
