The USA handcrafted wind chimes use recycled poly composite in place of traditional wood strikers. Wood strikers tend to break down after only a few years in the outdoor elements. The poly-composite material is extremely durable; it will not dry out, crack, or break. Poly-composite is made of recycled plastic bottles. Poly also provides a softer richer tone, making it an excellent choice for the striker material.
The chime tubes are made of powder-coated aluminum and the strings are made of UV resistant polypropylene material.
Combine all these elements with years of testing and precision tuning, and you will understand why these chimes are known for high-quality sound, durability, and workmanship.
