Comes equipped with a 1/2" air inlet and a bushing for 3/8" air hoses. The router will run on a 3/8" air hose, however, it is recommended to us a ½” air hose for long shop runs.
Made with engineered components for more durable use.
Choose either 3/8", a 1/2", or both collet size(s) using the drop-down box.
Pictured with both a fixed base and a plunge router base made by DeWalt. Priced with a fixed base. Add the plunge router base using the drop-down box at the top of the page to make this a dual-use router.
You probably won’t find this anywhere else on the Internet. Cottage Craft Works specializes in Amish-made and used products for the general marketplace.
The Amish, who do not believe in grid power use air and hydraulic power tools in their commercial woodworking shops and furniture factories.
The Amish have been using and building air power tools for years and are considered experts in the use of airpower.
The Amish also do not subscribe to the concept of planned obsolescence, they simply build products to use for a very long time.
The Ox Air Router carries a one-year warranty subject to inspection for abuse and condensation damage from improperly maintained airlines.
Note: These routers are designed to be used where a typical woodworking router would be used in wood, fiberglass, and in some applications where a thin aluminum or plastic membrane is used to sandwich wood or foam cut-out applications. We have had some manufacturing facilities using them to machine thick metal aluminum parts. This type of application or similar applications is beyond the scope of what the router is designed for and will void the warranty.
We also carry smaller pneumatic routers and other unique air-powered tools. Click Here to see more air-powered tools

- great performance
We started using the air routers to process veneer plywood layups about a year ago. We had been struggling with electric plunge routers failing regularly and the quality of electric plunge routers declining since the Porter Cable 7538 was obsoleted. We started using the air router and have had minimal issues with it. The performance is great and repair parts are available if needed.
