The three-piece unit consists of two stacking pans and a stainless-steel rack for roasting all kinds of meats. The flat bottom top will also serve as another oven pan.
Some call this an Up/Down Roaster. It is something that was a Holiday family tradition while growing up in our home and we never could understand why it didn’t remain as popular as the oblong roasters. Having a square roaster to fit a square oven box makes far more sense.
The two square pans are more versatile than an oblong roaster as well. We used it for preparing vegetables for canning, outdoor gatherings for large batches of baked beans, and even a dishpan.
