Like the originals, these bowls will also very likely become family heirlooms. Custom hand-painted options are also available. The 10" size is just right for whipping up toppings or eggs. The bowl is hand turned to an approximate depth of 4-1/2". This bowl can also go into the oven to make baked beans and other hot dishes.

These bowls are both beautiful and functional!
Our 10" bowl measures approximately 10" across and about 4-1/2" deep and holds about 12 cups, or around 3 quarts of liquid.
Stoneware is lead-free, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. The pottery is durable and functional for everyday use.
The standard color is priced in blue stripe. You may choose other colors using the drop-down box at the top of the page. Some colors are hand-painted and signed by the artist. Please note: the rooster, red apple, and summer splendor design is a decal and is not hand painted. The Poppy Seed design will include flowers in both blue and peach, which may be on opposite sides of the stoneware.

Depending on where it is in the kiln the actual white colors may vary between cream and white with some grayish hue or even towards a tan, beige color. Another characteristic of old-fashioned hand-turned pottery.
